How it works
Your memberships already open more doors than you think
-
1Add your memberships
Pick the places you're a member of. PassportMap already knows which networks each membership is a part of, so you never need to.
-
2See where they get you in
Every attraction your memberships cover, on the map and in a list by distance, with what each one gets you: free, half price, or member price.
-
3Go
Directions in the maps app you already use, your card ready at the front desk, and a road trip planner for when you want to see more than one.
6 networks, one app
2,917 attractions. One map.
Plenty of places belong to more than one (634 of them), so a single membership can carry several networks. Search for the place you're a member of, or pick a network to see where it reaches.
All 6 networks
- Museums 1,981
- Gardens 409
- Science centers 373
- Zoos and aquariums 154

Every rule, worked out for you
Each network has its own rules, and some attractions add their own. PassportMap reads all of them for every membership you hold, then says in plain words what you get, place by place.
- ASTCNot within 90 miles of your home or of the place you belong to.
- NARMROAMSome museums skip members from within 15, 25 or 50 miles.
- AZAFree or half price, depending on both zoos' reciprocity levels.
- AHSTime TravelersBenefits set place by place, and listed with each one.
Places your memberships don't cover stay off the map until you ask to see them.
A tour of the app
From the map to the front desk
Know before you go
Every attraction says what each of your memberships gets you there, and what to watch for: ticketed events, a distance rule, what to bring. Call, website and directions are one tap away, in Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze.
- One answer per membership, collapsed into one line
- Each network's rules and FAQ, a tap away
- The whole catalog is in the app, so it works with no signal

Road trips, with everything on the way Pro
Pick a start and a finish. PassportMap draws the drive and finds every attraction your memberships cover inside a corridor you set, from 5 to 50 miles wide. Add stops and waypoints, and it puts them in the best driving order.
- Stops that drift off the route are flagged, never dropped
- On the road: your next stop, one tap to go, and a check as you visit
- Every place you've been, kept on the map

Your card, ready at the counter Pro
Every membership in one list, with the networks it's a part of. Scan your card, front and back, and it's there when you walk in, even in a basement gallery with no signal.
- Auto-cropped by the scanner, kept only on your phone
- One card per membership, as many memberships as you hold
- If Pro ends, your cards stay yours to see

- Search anythingAn attraction, a city, a ZIP or an address.
- Filters that stickBy kind, by network, by distance, remembered.
- Works offlineThe catalog and your cards live on your phone.
- Light and darkFollows your phone's setting, day or night.

Put PassportMap on your front desk
A site license puts PassportMap on your own iPads with Pro included, no ads and nothing to buy. Whatever a visitor adds never leaves the device. $34.99 per device, once, through Apple Business Manager.
Ask about a site licenseIs PassportMap part of ASTC, NARM or the other networks?
No. PassportMap is an independent app made by BP Labs, and it isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any network or attraction. We read each network's published list and turn it into one map, with each network's rules attached.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-in and nothing to sign up for. Your memberships, card photos, trips and visits are kept on your phone, and your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google) carries them to a new one.
What is the 90-mile rule?
ASTC's Travel Passport doesn't apply at a science center within 90 miles of your home or of the place you're a member of, measured in a straight line. PassportMap works it out for you and leaves those places off the map unless you ask to see them. The other networks have rules of their own, and PassportMap handles those too.
How current are the lists?
Each network publishes its list on its own schedule, and PassportMap is updated as they do. The lists in the app today:
- NARM North American Reciprocal Museum Association, Jun 2026
- ROAM Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums, Sep 2026
- Time Travelers Time Travelers, Sep 2026
- AHS American Horticultural Society, Aug 2026
- ASTC Association of Science & Technology Centers, Aug 2026
- AZA Association of Zoos and Aquariums, Aug 2026
Attractions change their policies between lists, so call ahead before a long drive.
Does it work without a signal?
Mostly. Every attraction is built into the app and your card photos are stored on your phone, so looking up a place and showing your card both work offline. The map itself and trip planning need a connection.
Which phones does it run on?
iPhone and iPad. Android is in testing and coming soon to Google Play.
